High School Scholarships
Zach Glabman played an active role in Youth and Government at Corona Del Mar High School and was the president of both Speech and Debate and Model United Nations. Zach was a member of the Corona Del Mar High School Varsity Golf Team for four years and spent a summer in Washington, D.C., as a congressional intern. Zach’s conservative knowledge and values will make him a powerful influence at Washington University in St. Louis where he will be attending in the fall.
Samantha Pickell was a four-year member of the Corona Del Mar High School Varsity Sailing Team and helped her team win the Pacific Coast Championship in 2016. She also played an active role in Speech and Debate and Model United Nations. Stanford University will be lucky to have her in attendance next year as she brings her enthusiasm, zest for learning, and conservative values to their campus.
Camerone Prudommme was on the Corona del Mar High School basketball, lacrosse, football, and track teams. Captain of the CDM football team during his senior year, Camerone was "Player of the Year,” and recognized by the National Football Foundation and College Coaches Hall of Fame as a “Top Scholar “ in Orange County.
A strong conservative, Camerone will be a persuasive voice on the Louisiana State University campus where he will attend in the fall.
Each year NHRW presents scholarships to outstanding students in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. We raise funds partly through our dues and member donations. We encourage our members to be on the lookout for potential high school seniors who may qualify for one of our scholarships. The application form will be available on our website, soon, as well as in the scholarship office at each of the high schools. Applications must be received by April 15, 2018, to be considered.
Please consider donating specifically to NHRW’s scholarship program. We give up to three $1,000 scholarships each year. These donations are not tax-deductible, but they are fulfilling. You may send checks payable to NHRW, with “Scholarship” noted on the memo line to:
