Zach Glabman played an active role in Youth and Government at Corona Del Mar High School and was the president of both Speech and Debate and Model United Nations. Zach was a member of the Corona Del Mar High School Varsity Golf Team for four years and spent a summer in Washington, D.C., as a congressional intern. Education is transformational. It changes lives. That is why people work so hard to become educated and why education has always been the key to the American Dream, the force that erases arbitrary divisions of race and class and culture and unlocks every person’s God-given potential

Each year NHRW presents scholarships to outstanding students in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. We raise funds partly through our dues and member donations. We encourage our members to be on the lookout for potential high school seniors who may qualify for one of our scholarships. The application form will be available on our website, soon, as well as in the scholarship office at each of the high schools. Applications must be received by April 15, 2018, to be considered.

Please consider donating specifically to NHRW’s scholarship program. We give up to three $1,000 scholarships each year. These donations are not tax-deductible, but they are fulfilling. You may send checks payable to NHRW, with “Scholarship” noted on the memo line to:
